HWG has not been confirmed for a table for this year’s event. We will advise if a table is assigned for the Henderson Writers Group.
Open to the Public event for the Vegas Valley Book Festival:
You are invited to a Vegas Valley Book Festival special event, "Book Clubs: What are you reading?" at the new Windmill Library on October 19 , 6:30 - 8:30 pm. It's going to be a great evening, with Maile Chapman reading from her book Your presence is requested at Suvanto and from Jane Smiley's A Thousand Acres. There will also be readings by Joshua Kryah, a poet, from his book We are starved, and from Max Brooks' World War Z.
There will be refreshments, sharing with other book groups, book sales, and prizes. Don't miss it! Smiley and Brooks are the keynote speakers at the VVBF, so this will give you a taste of their work.
Bring your friends - this event is open to the public, so please spread the word!
