Thursday is Thanksgiving!
The history of the feasting day goes back as far as 1621, but it didn’t happen on the fourth Thursday in the beginning. It took a few presidents and a few hundred years to finally settle on the day of the official holiday.
In 1789, President George Washington proclaimed November 26th as the Thanksgiving Holiday. In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln declared the fourth Thursday of November as the National Thanksgiving Day. In 1939 President Franklin D. Roosevelt changed the national holiday to November 23, the next to the last Thursday to be the national holiday. No surprise, controversy and refusal from the American people who stuck to tradition and continued to celebrate on the fourth Thursday instead. In 1941, Roosevelt succeeded and signed the bill making the fourth Thursday of November as the National Holiday Thanksgiving Day.

Your book is done or almost done, do you have a tag line? In Hollywood they are called LOG LINES. In publishing refer to your TAG LINE. Here’s a great read on Book Buzzr on getting the description of your story down in a few short words. http://www.bookbuzzr.com/blog/book-marketing/book-marketing-mistake-number-1-no-tag-line-for-book-or-author/
