HWG MEMBERS
The Henderson Writers Group is a critique group for reading your work and receive feedback. For some, reading in front of an audience is the most frightening act you can perform. NO WORRIES, as a support group for your writing we believe everyone who would like input on their story is very important. There are some members who do not like to read their work, and we also have members who have no problem reading in front of others. If you're a little shy, you can request to remain anonymous as the writer. We respect everyone and everything you write. Feedback helps. Always remember the Henderson Writers Group has a NO BLOOD ON THE FLOOR policy. Suggestions are to improve the writing, not bash the writer. Now, we are putting these two group together. Contact Education Chairman Darlien Breeze and she will keep names and contact info for those who would like to be a part of this group.
Sometimes, listening to someone else read your work helps you the writer pick up on things you might not catch. We do re-read our work so often you would be surprised at what you miss. We memorize it to a point. Let someone else read your work.
