The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf buzzed with activity last weekend at the launch of Writer’s Bloc IV. Tables lined the room where authors sat signing books and mingling with guests. Coffee, tea, and pastries added to the event’s festive flair.
Thirteen authors attended the launch: Sid Goodman, Kathie Harrington, A.L. Campbell (Audrey Balzart), Vital Germaine, K. Ray Katz, Judy Logan, A.R. Shenandoah (Amanda Skenandore), W. Darrah Whitaker, J.A. Wilkins, Jay Yarbrough, Patricia Kranish, Ariel Belanger, and Deuvall Dorsey.
Many other Henderson Writers’ Group members came out to show their
support. Family, friends, and several passersby stopped in as well.
The group sold numerous books, including a few box sets containing
all four Writers Bloc anthologies. Much thanks to all those who made
this event possible and here’s to many more successful launches!
